We are seeking a dedicated synthetic organic chemist to play a pivotal role in our R&D efforts.
As the primary hands-on expert, you will be integral in the synthesis, purification, and characterization of small molecule compounds.
Your collaboration with the Director of R&D will be crucial in devising and implementing strategies to enhance the yields and scalability of both established and novel synthetic targets.
Furthermore, your responsibilities will extend to upholding current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards in our laboratory environment and contributing to the formulation of topical drug and cosmetic products.
Education and Experience Ph.
D.
in Synthetic Organic Chemistry.
Recent graduates are encouraged to apply, as no minimum post-graduate experience is required.
Responsibilities Independently carry out the synthesis, purification, and characterization of organic molecules.
Design innovative routes for multi-step synthesis of molecules, efficiently troubleshoot challenges, and adeptly interpret analytical data.
Present progress at weekly group meetings Required Skills Hands-on experience in multi-step organic synthesis.
Comprehensive knowledge of analytical and characterization techniques, including NMR, HPLC, Mass Spectrometry, etc.
Proficiency in purification techniques, especially column chromatography.
Experience in topical product formulation is a plus, but it's not a requirement.
