Pleasantly promotes the available amenities and facilities of our hotel and assists the guest in making reservations for them.
Answers inquiries, offer suggestions, and provides descriptive literature pertaining to recreational activities.
Schedules and arranges transportation for our guests.
Provides and arranges business center services such as copying, faxing, typing, mailing, and delivering packages for our guests.
Ensures that the business center is fully stocked and operational for our guests.
Plays a key role in ensuring that our guest needs are met in a timely manner by interacting and communicating closely with other departments in the hotel.
Accurately posts guest charges and completes a daily shift audit.
Provides a safe and secure environment for both our guests and colleagues by knowing and assisting in safety and emergency procedures.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or GED.
At least 3-12 months of relevant experience and/or training.
If no educational background, at least 1 year.
A combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement.
Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
Knowledge of the La Jolla area preferred.
Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
