Full Charge Bookkeeper for non profit organization, La Jolla, CA

Position Requirements:
o Knowledge/experience of not for profit accounting for fund balances
o Proficient in AP, AR and payroll using a 3rd party processor
o Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities with limited supervision
o Excellent customer service skills
Qualifications/Skills Requirements:
o Knowledge of accounting principles and concepts
o Proficient in Quick Books, Pro Advisor certification preferred
o Advanced Excel skills
o Ability to produce monthly financial statements by class
o Ability to prepare clear and accurate high level reports for submission to the Board of Directors
o Skill to maintain high level of confidentiality of information

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
